News: The GDPR Compliance

As of 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation comes into force. At Bekserver we have always been committed to data privacy and security and we have taken all necessary steps to ensure GDPR compliance.
What is GDPR?
GDPR is the European Union regulation that replaces the Data Protection Directive and is aimed at strengthening and unifying data protection for all individuals within the European Union. The regulation will bring a huge change to European data security, but it will impact many non-EU based business as well.
We’re working with our legal advisors to implement all necessary changes to ensure that Bekserver will comply with the GDPR when it becomes enforceable on 25th May, 2018. We’ll inform all of our customers about all privacy policy and security changes introduced to Bekserver in regards with the GDPR by the end of April.
We would also like to encourage all of our customers to review the requirements of GDPR and make sure your data privacy policy and security practices meet those requirements.
